Respecting the existing behaviors and lifestyle habits of the community, this proposal provides residents with a flexible and multifunctional recreational space.
On one hand, the main building block with an area under 250m² comprises:
- a children’s library on the ground floor;
- and an adult library on the second floor.
On the other hand, the ground floor area is designed as an open-air theater.
The feature wall, constructed using the distinctive Equitone material, both honors the historic Hercules fountain and serves as a backdrop for the outdoor stage.
Given the scarcity of parks in the surrounding area, this proposal aims to create a plaza that is bathed in sunlight for dynamic activities, while quieter zones will benefit from the shade cast by existing buildings.
Moreover, the current café owner can participate in preserving this area and contribute to the successful implementation of the project.
